Justice League Colon The Movie?!

JusticeLeagueofAmerica2.jpg
As first reported by Variety and subsequently picked up by every major and minor news or blog reporter on the internet...Warner Brothers is considering a Justice League summer-blockbuster typre movie for theaters sometime in the near future. They've even gone so far as to hire a pair of screenwriters, Kiernan and Michele Mulroney, to take a swing at nailing the perfect script for this massive undertaking.

Understandably the first question on everyone's mind is will this be a "Big Three" Justice League (comprised of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and friends) or will this be a lesser-known League. I don't think it's worth making the movie if you DON'T have the Bat, the Broad and the Alien.

What do you think?

I think this movie is going to come crushing down under its own weight before a single frame is shot.

However, putting on my optimist hat, there's a real opportunity for WB to build a whole wing for their superhero film and TV projects under the JLA umbrella.

Here's to hoping for a smart line-up (no Smallville squads), something better than a generic extra-terrestrial menace and for some big names to sign on.

Viva Aquaman.
