Before you shoot nasty comments my way, let me fully acknowledge that this post doesn't have a lot of relevance in Fodder land. Nonetheless, I know there are an awful lot of creative people who read Fodder Network blogs, so I figured I'd take a shot with something unusual.
So here's the deal: In my other job (yes, I have one), I oversee editorial for ElectronicHouse.com and I'm taking the wraps off an editorial contest. I want to see the most creative home theater installations people have put together. Do you have a theme theater (the Batcave)? Have you integrated unusual technology (the entire thing is run by an iPod)? It can be low-end or high-end; as long as it's creative and/or unusual, I'm interested.
The best submissions will be featured in an upcoming issue of Electronic House magazine. Granted, it's not an Emmy or an Oscar, but it will give you killer bragging rights among your home theater comrades.
You can go here for more information or you can skip the formalities and send me your pictures and stories directly.
I now return you to your regularly scheduled Fodder content.
Thanks! -- Mac
