Yeah, you read that title right. Don't clean your glasses or your computer screens, thinking there's a smudge. We're scratching our heads, too.
"Bring It On: All or Nothing," the third release in this Oscar-worthy trilogy (Peter Jackson, beware!) cheered its way to - get this - the second-highest live-action DVD debut ever, raking in over $12 million in its first week alone. First Sharon Stone, now this. Give us B-movie disasters any day over this hormonal sludge.
The President of Universal Studios Home Entertainment is praising the film, stating, "With its combination of top-notch cast and filmmaking talent, music, humor and spectacular, high-energy cheerdancing, the Bring it On franchise continues to demonstrate an overwhelming appeal for its core teen audience." We can think of a lot of adjectives to describe a movie like this, but "top-notch" and "filmmaking talent" do not exist in the bag of words we would throw at the page, like rotten tomatoes.
What film, you may be asking yourself, still luckily hangs on to the number one position, proudly holding its DVD Premiere trophy aloft as it trash-talks its lesser opponents into submission? What's that you say? "Titanic"? "Star Wars: Episode 1"?
How about "American Pie: Band Camp"?
Ok, we're gonna go cry in the corner of a hot shower now.
Confession time: The original "Bring It On" is on my list of guilty pleasures. Fortunately, my appreciation for the flick stopped with the first one.
BTW, does Hayden Panettiere have a clause requiring her to wear a cheerleader's uniform in all her projects?

it is more appropriate to laugh uncontrollably upon reading this, or to have a pit in your stomach? I chose the former.
