We were just as giddy as the next "Star Wars" geek when Lucasfilm announced they were releasing the original, unedited "Star Wars" trilogy on DVD this Fall (September 12th, to be exact). Now, you can get your lightsaber-wielding, cinnamon-bun-earmuff-wearing, smuggler-sneering, fuzzball-bellowing, early geek on, as Lucasfilm just released a bevy of new pics from the forthcoming "A New Hope" Bonus DVD menus over at the official starwars.com.
Menu pics, you say, yawning? Well, the cool thing about these menus is that New Wave Entertainment (who also did the menus for the second volume of "Clone Wars") has gone all retro on us with the original poster art, and then given them the 21st century makeover with 3D animations that will not only make these editions a valuable collector's item, but also a nostalgic, artsy trip down memory lane.
