Movieweb has the skinny on one of our favorite book-to-film adaptations, "The Green Mile," which is getting the pimp treatment from the film's director, Frank Darabont. Creatively titled "The Green Mile: Special Edition," this 2-disc set is so loaded with features that you could use it to bust out of a prison cell (yes, we're known for our cheesy analogies tied to the film of which we speak).
Frank Darabont gushed over the studio's support in the making of this edition, stating "Warner's patience and enthusiasm never waned for a moment throughout this process; their determination to do the job right and give the fans of the film something truly special easily matched mine." Click through to Movieweb to read the rest of Darabont's impassioned quote.
