No surprise here, but when "Beerfest" gets released on December 5th it will come in R-rated and unrated versions, a move that seems more and more common for DVD releases to draw the gutter-minded crowd. We've seen the unrated gimmick in everything from "Dukes of Hazzard" to "Scary Movie 4." This kind of marketing tactic screams "our movie sucked in theaters, but it just might be a whole lot better on DVD now that the 'true' unrated version can come to light."
If, however, you plan on spending a brainless evening drinking beer and plopping this in your DVD player on December 5th, then you might want a sneak peek of the DVD release details as well, so here goes:

this movie is the ultimate college flick. it's not the thing you sit down as a family and watch, it's one of those movies that you (being between 18 and 29)and the guys sit around and throw in and throw a few back and enjoy another broken lizard classic.
