Fresh Fodder: New DVD Releases - 10/30/2006

Whether it's jumping up and down on a couch, berating Matt Lauer about his lack of prescription drug knowledge, or releasing a DVD earlier than usual, Tom Cruise is clearly attracting a lot of attention these days. We're not so much the Cruise-haters around these parts, being able to separate his on and off screen personalities enough to enjoy most of the films he releases. What really has us excited about today's release of "Mission: Impossible III," however, is the fact that it's directed by "Lost" and "Alias" creator J.J. Abrams, which is clearly a match made in heaven (think "Alias" with a lead role switch).

Also, stay tuned for our tongue-in-cheek review of the "Baywatch" Season 1 and 2 DVD sets that get released today, where we ask the age old question - "Who can equal the virile masculinity of David Hasselhoff?"
