Taking a cue from Disney, it appears Warner Bros. has announced that the current slate of "Harry Potter" DVDs will be put on moratorium (that's "taken off the shelf" for us low-brow types; trust us, we searched Wikipedia). Scuttlebutt doesn't seem to indicate whether this is due to the films getting an imminent high-def makeover, but with the 5th movie looming around the corner you know Warner execs aren't going to let their cash-cows disappear for long.
Warner has made no announcements as to when Mr. Potter will return to DVD, so get your broom-riding butts out to retail stores immediately if you haven't already snatched up your copy. The DVDs leave stores soon!
