The Horror Channel Draws Nigh

It's almost enough to make me run out and get cable; The Horror Channel may be on its way to becoming a reality. According to tvsquad, the people behind the Horror Channel have teamed up with PR agency CWR & Partners in an effort to bolster promotion of the channel.

A quick visit to the CWR & Partners Web site reveals that there does in fact appear to be a deep level of commitment to the transaction from both sides. We can only hope that this becomes a dream come true for horror fans.

Of course there's the very real problem of how to deal with the spike in unemployment claims that will surely result as more and more viewers get addicted to the content and turn into zombies before their cathode gods. With not just fiction films but also documentaries, original series and interview shows promised, there's plenty of reason to expect it to be impossible to switch this channel off.--Pete Mesling
