Producer of "Saw" Movies Dies

"Saw" and "Saw II" producer Gregg Hoffman has died at the age of 42, according to the Guardian. Natural causes are cited.

Hoffman was at work on "Saw III," so obviously that series of horror films was an important part of his career, but he actually has a past in the industry that goes back to Disney, where his work was instrumental in bringing "George of the Jungle" and "Sweet Home Alabama" to the big screen.

Hoffman leaves behind a wife and two sons.--Pete Mesling
