In a move that only Christopher Hitchens could find seemly, Paris Hilton has reportedly landed the coveted film role of Nobel Peace Prize winner Mother Theresa. Digital Spy drops this horrifying bomb on us, stating that the director of the biopic, T. Rajeevnath, "think[s] she'll be a hit."
This may seem like a slightly odd story to find in the generally blood-soaked confines of Fearfodder, but can you look me in the eye and say that the casting of Hilton as Mother Theresa isn't a little creepy? The film project does have one thing to recommend it, however. Proceeds will go to the Missions of Charity--the same Missions of Charity that Hilton will be joining as part of her research for the challenging role. I don't remember Mel Gibson making that kind of financial commitment to his beliefs when the box office take for "The Passion of the Christ" started rolling in. Or maybe I just don't read the right papers.--Pete Mesling
