Not thrilled to tears about the sequel to "Clerks" that's supposed to come out this year? Not eager to find out just how dry Kevin Smith can wring the sponge of an idea that was obviously best suited to the raw energies that went into his debut film? Well shame on you, because King Diamond--one of the more noteworthy satanists from the '80s metal scene--will be heard on the soundtrack, according to Blabbermouth.
Okay, you're right. That's not quite enough to do it for me, either. And if Blabbermouth isn't joking about the name of the movie being "The Passion of the Clerks," there's even less incentive to raise an eyebrow for this. I mean, maybe if King Diamond were laying down some new material or making a cameo appearance ... but apparently it will just be his 1988 song "Welcome Home."--Pete Mesling
