Okay, I read your lists and have to agree with most of the selections. However, the movie that was missing was Empire of the Sun. This one makes me cry every time I see it. Christian Bale was wonderful as 13 year old Jim who survives some pretty horrible times - when he sees his mother at the end of the movie and melts into her arms, well, let me tell you, my eyes are welling up right now, just thinking about it. An amazing performance by a young kid. I think I'll go rent it tonight!
