Just when you thought you could finally afford a PlayStation 3, well... you still can't. According to Reuters, Ryoji Chubachi, president of Sony, says there are no plans to knock down the price of the pricey game console.
Rumors of a price drop have been rampant all over the Web, citing disappointing sales figures for Sony. Experts say that making the device more affordable would send consumers running for the shelves, considering the unit's graphics power and high-definition DVD features. Well, duh!

duh, of course the Sony president is going to deny it. That still doesn't mean it is not going to happen really soon. Sony's E3 press conference is when we'll really know.
