Slash Will Appear in "Guitar Hero III"

Where's Slash been lately? Activision just announced that the former Velvet Revolver and Guns N' Roses guitar god will contribute an original track to and appear in "Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock."

The soundtrack will also include tunes from The Rolling Stones, Beasties Boys, Muse, Pearl Jam, and the Guns N' Roses mega-hit, "Welcome to the Jungle."

Slash will star in the game as one of the characters you can do battle with. Maybe the new Les Paul Guitar Controller will improve your skills. Good luck, suckers.

"Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock" will be available for the Xbox 360, the Nintendo Wii and both PlayStation 2 and 3 this fall. -- Rachel Cericola
