Nintendo Having Happy Holiday Season

wii.jpgLooks like Nintendo is having a mer-Wii holiday season.

Twice says that just a week into the seasonal shopping frenzy, the gaming manufacturer has sold more than 350,000 Wii consoles and 653,000 DS units.

I am wondering how high these numbers will rise before the last bow is tied this Christmas.

Has anyone seen a Wii since Black Friday? The only ones that I've seen are on eBay, in case you're in need of a good Christmas gouging.

The shortages might have something to do with the assumption that the DS will take the top selling spot for 2007. The $129 price tag isn't too shabby either. -- Rachel Cericola
