Cameron Diaz Attacked By Bird

Superstar Cameron Diaz cheated death when a bird crashed through the windscreen of her chauffeur-driven car.

Her silver Range Rover was hit by the bird as it sped along Britain's A3 motorway, at 65mph. The bird punched a huge hole in the windscreen, right in front of the driver.

The skilled chaffeur managed to keep the vehicle under control, despite suffering minor cuts, and calmly pulled into a nearby garage to comfort the badly-shaken actress. Cameron, who had been sitting in the front passenger seat, was showered with glass.

A motorist at the garage, who spoke to the driver shortly after the crash, told the Sunday Mirror: "There is no doubt that he saved Cameron's life. Other drivers would have panicked and lost control but he remained very cool. All you had to do was look at the damage to the windscreen to realise there had been one hell of an impact. I thought someone had thrown a brick from a bridge or something."
