Katie Holmes Spends 8-hours a Day at 'Church'

Katie Holmes is reportedly spending eight hours a day at a Scientology "church".

According to the Sun, Katie, who is engaged to Tom Cruise and expecting his baby, has been visiting the center up to three times a day.

Katie was brought up a Catholic, but converted to Scientology after falling for Tom. A friend of hers tells the paper, "Her family are becoming very worried. They don't know what she is being taught. She is becoming more distant and seems to worship Scientology as much as she worships Tom."

Meanwhile, far from backing down after threats of a lawsuit, Life & Style magazine is following up on their claim that Tom and Katie are over - the upcoming issue reveals details about their alleged breakup, including the claim that Tom blames Katie for leaking the details of their secret split.

I thought Tom Cruise was cute in "Risky Business" and expected great things from him. But over the years he has gone from cute and appealing to self-absorbed, arrogant and...let's face it...wierd. I hope Katie walks away from both him and Scientology with her head held high and finds herself a real life with a real person who lives in the real world.
