Nicole Richie: Is She Over?

As Nicole Richie continues to waste away, she may be losing her fan base.

The shrinking Simple Life star has been named the new face of Diet Dr. Pepper but no one seems to care.

According to gossip blog Open All Night, Nicole was doing a promotional tour around New York City for the diet beverage – but no one showed up! The Reality TV star was giving out free diet Dr. Pepper but only a few dozen sodas were doled out. In fact one heckler who was passing by drew boos and giggles by shouting, “She’s ugly!” as he walked passed.”

Poor Nicole – someone give her a sandwich.

Ahhh, remember the day when "celebrity" was somehow in your mind connected to talent and interesting personalities. To have a recognizable name though you neither entertain nor contribute much of anything should not be enough to make you a spokesperson. Dr. Pepper should have his head examined by a professional for failing to use good judgement.
