According to reports, Tara Reid is begging the media to give her a chance to save her movie career, instead of portraying her as the consummate party girl.
The actress insists the reputation given her by the tabloids is beginning to affect livelihood - because Hollywood producers believe everything they read about her.
Tara says she'd like the gossip columnists to start focusing on the positive. She says, "I work really hard. I don't just party. I work with charities, and I'm a huge family girl. I'm with my family every Sunday. I just bought my parents a house. I'm sensitive, and I care what people write about me. I don't like that they make me look like an idiot. I'm not an idiot. I'm smart. I'm a lot smarter than people realise. I just want to act again. I'm more than they're letting me be. I need a chance. If I get that chance, people will see."
I don't know about you, but Tara, I think that ship has sailed. Maybe it's time to get some career counselling - H&M young executive training course anyone?
Reputations aren't given, they are earned. She got hers the old fashioned way.

-- Posted by: Rachel at February 7, 2006 9:04 PMNo... I think the crew just finally got tired of her and dumped her over board. most of her movies are crap. have you watched My Boss's Daughter? and being a fur hag probably didn't help her either.
-- Posted by: Connie at February 12, 2006 3:16 AMShe could make a comeback - Dancing With The Stars III. She could come off as classy, even in defeat, and pull herself way up. She could use a hair cut, as well.

Tara Reid is gross. Being misunderstood is not her biggest problem. The press did not fake those photos we have all seen of her totally wasted. It is a little late for her to decide she wants a different image. As you say, that ship has sailed.
