Linday Lohan's reps confirmed to People that her - allegedly - stolen Hermes bag, containing a good chunk of expensive jewelry and her asthma medication, was returned today. A spokesman for Scotland Yard said a "member of the public" contacted the authorities and the bag was thereafter returned. It's yet to be determined whether anything has been stolen; I'll be shocked if it's all recovered. This comes quickly on the heels of those underwear-free photos of the Lohan scattered all over the web. (Very NSFW, so be forewarned.) Yow - rough few days. The 20-year-old paparazzi princess was traveling in Europe with boyfriend Harry Morton for the premiere of her new movie, Bobby, at the Venice Film Festival.
E! Online is reporting that Jessica Simpson's publicist, Rob Shuter, will no longer speak on behalf on of the bubbly blonde - manager dad Joe Simpson fired him last week. The problems started when Shuter recently implied to People that Simpson was involved with John Mayer, resulting in a flurry of tabloid one-upmanship that ended with US Weekly reporting their breakup. Jessica went on The View this week to clear things up: she is not dating Mayer. And so came the axe. Don't mess with Papa Bear.
In other It Girl news, Paris Hilton's rep assures clamoring fans that although Hilton repeatedly claims her DUI arrest was "nothing" - that she wasn't drunk only hungry and speeding towards an In-N-Out burger - she is still taking the situation very seriously. We believe you.
