Over Seventy Films to Screen at Full Frame

If you're not sure what you're doing April 6 - 9, get yourself to Durham, NC for the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival. The four day fest is in its ninth year and probably the only place you'll be able to see so many documentaries in once place. No fanciful fiction for these filmmakers!

Seventy-three different films are showcased in the recently-announced line-up, including a Southern Sidebar focusing on Hurrican Katrina-centric films and "Class in America," the theme program shaped much like a museum exhibit. While not every film is a world premiere, enough are new to make a trip to the Festival worthwhile. Cinematical gave the lineup a quick nod, mentioning titles like Angel Makers and Filthy Gorgeous, The Trannyshack Story as films to catch.

One day, I'll make a career out of traveling from city to city for every film festival worth its weight in popcorn, and I'll set the first half of April aside as my reality check. For four days, Durham is going to be filled with coversations, debates, questions and discussions sparked by seventy-odd films, each with a message. If you're in the area, check out the scene and let us know how much you learn.
