Clerks II Official Trailer Hits Internet

Way back when, a soft spoken guy named Kevin Smith made a few movies. He hit the scene with Clerks, a quirky, black and white flick about two guys that work at a convenience store. Then came Mallrats, an early Ben Affleck and Jason Lee vehicle, followed by the unrequited love in Chasing Amy and the unabashed satire of Dogma, complete with Alanis Morissette as God.

Now, after twelve years and endless buzz, Mr. Smith will finally grace us with Clerks II, revisiting Dante, Randall and the gang (Jay and Silent Bob included, naturally). The film is likely to be classic Smith, complete with deadpan wit and societal mockery, and should prove a must for every DVD collection.

Until recently, though, an official trailer has only been a pipe dream for Smith fans. Exhale, people. Because here it is, in all its YouTube glory. Get it while it's hot.
