Pamela Gray Pitches, Gets to Direct

gray.JPGOnce you've done a successful movie or two, it becomes easier to convince the guys in charge that you've got a good idea in the works.

That's exactly where Pamela Gray's found herself when she pitched her in-the-works script to Fox Searchlight. Hollywood Reporter's got the scoop; Gray's script will focus on a group of female friends who reuinte around one's milestone event. Inspired by true events, Gray developed the script after a vacation of her own with a group of friends.

The creative mind behind Music of the Heart and A Walk on the Moon (pictured), Gray not only got the green light to finish her script, but also to direct the project. It will be her first time at the helm.
