From Amidala to Indiana: Portman Rumored as Indy's Daughter

Coming Attractions scored a scooping coup a few months back when they were the first to report that Jimy Smits would be in "Episode II." Their latest scoop, if it proves to be true, would eclipse their previous triumph. An item on CA's Indy 4 page says that Natalie Portman has asked George Lucas if she can play Indy's daughter in the fourth film. It's not such a weird idea when you consider that Harrison Ford's pull with a teenaged crowd isn't what it used to be. You've also got to figure a few million in box office receipts from fetishists who want to see Portman with a whip. But anyway, if you feel the need to repeat this rumor—and I'm betting you will—issue a lengthy caveat beforehand because this is categorically unconfirmed.
