Indy 4's Vital Signs Improving

Fox News reporter Roger Friedman caught Steven Spielberg, Harrison Ford and Kate Capshaw off-guard at a post-Golden Globes party last night, and today he's the envy of every movie newshound on the planet. Friedman filed a saliva-inducing scoop in which Spielberg revealed that "Indiana Jones 4" will be at the top of his Blockbusters To Make List when "Catch Me if you Can" is finished. In an impromptu interview, Spielberg and the oft-reticent Ford confirmed that a suitable script has finally been found and a title for the fourth Indy installment is forthcoming. The only clue Spielberg offered about the plot is that his wife, Capshaw, will reprise her role from 1984's "Temple of Doom."

This is just a guess, but based on the schedule for "Catch Me if You Can," and barring further obstacles (such as Ford succumbing to old age), "Indiana Jones 4" could go into pre-production late this year.
