It's Official: Spider-Man 2 in May 2004

As "Spider-Man" dismantles its box-office competition, Columbia Pictures is preparing its second Spidey assault. The Hollywood Reporter says the studio has staked out May 7, 2004 as the premiere date for "Spider-Man 2." Director Sam Raimi and stars Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst will reunite early next year to begin filming.
