Pulitzer-prize-winning author Michael Chabon ("The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay") is no longer writing the sequel to "Spider-Man." Chabon tells movie site Counting Down: "I turned in my draft of the script to Sony. I thought it more or less rocked. Alas, not everyone involved with the project, apparently, agreed with my own unbiased assessment." The script has been handed to Alvin Sargent, who, by some sheer coincedence, happens to be married to "Spider-Man" producer Laura Ziskin. -- John Wesley
