Halle Berry is Catwoman, or so it Seems

Casting "Catwoman" is proving to be as arduous as finding a "Superman" star. Ashley Judd was initially attached to the project, then reports surfaced in February claiming Nicole Kidman would don the catsuit. Now, Variety says the role is almost certainly going to Halle Berry -- that is until Julia Roberts or Cameron Diaz or another A-list star jumps into the fray.

"Catwoman" is scheduled to begin filming later this year. Presumably, the starring role will be sorted out by then.
