Johnny and the Chocolate Factory

Johnny Depp may ride his success from "Pirates of the Caribbean" all the way into a chocolate factory. Variety says Depp has been offered the role of Willy Wonka in Tim Burton's remake of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." If a deal is ironed out, this will be Depp's fourth collaboration with Burton. The duo worked together on 1990's "Edward Scissorhands," 1994's "Ed Wood" and 1999's "Sleepy Hollow."--Mac Slocum
