Cedric the Entertainer Goes Back to School

The Hollywood Reporter says Cedric the Entertainer may star in a remake of the 1986 Rodney Dangerfield comedy "Back to School." The new version will be "loosely" based on the original. Apparently, "loosely" is now defined as "using the exact same plot" because Cedric would play a carefree father who enrolls in college to help his distraught son. All that's missing is the Triple Lindy.

Further details on "Back to School" haven't been announced. -- Mac Slocum
