Paramount Hops On Partridge Family Bus

I have a bad feeling about this ... The Hollywood Reporter says Paramount has purchased the rights to "The Partridge Family." The original TV series, which ran on ABC from 1970-1974, followed a family band as it toured the country in a psychedelic bus that put Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters to shame.

"The Partridge Family" project is out to writers. A release date hasn't been announced. Hopefully it won't be. -- Mac Slocum
