Reviewer Kirk Honeycutt says the psychological turmoil of conflicted hero Peter Parker gives an unusual degree of depth to a comic book movie. And the effects aren't too shabby either: "Production values exceed those of the earlier film in creating a comic book world with design, costumes, cinematography and CG effects that deliver the 'wow' factor in spades," Honeycutt writes.
