But here's a little problem: What's Singer going to do about the already-announced "X-Men 3" project? The Reporter says "X-Men 3" is slated to open May 5, 2006, which means script development, casting and other pre-shooting chores will need to happen relatively soon. Because of this, Variety says its unlikely Singer will handle "X-Men 3." I'm sure Fox execs are thrilled.
Singer also has Warner Bros' remake of "Logan's Run" on his plate and lord only knows when that project will come to fruition.
Of course, all of this assumes that Singer will avoid the "Superman" curse and succeed where Tim Burton, Brett Ratner and McG failed.
