Die Hard 4 Finds a Writer

Variety says 20th Century Fox has enlisted writer Doug Richardson to rewrite the script for "Die Hard 4." What Richardson will write and when those words might get to the screen are unknown.

A director hasn't been hired, but Fox would be smart to bring John McTiernan back into the fold. McTiernan revolutionized the action genre with the original "Die Hard" and he brought fresh life to John McClane with the surprisingly clever "Die Hard 3."
