Pierce Brosnan Dumps Bond

Let the casting conjecture begin. Pierce Brosnan tells Entertainment Weekly (subscription required) that he's done with the Bond franchise. "Bond is another lifetime," Brosnan says, "behind me."

A new Bond will need to be tapped soon since the next installment is scheduled to premiere Nov. 18, 2005. EW offers a host of possible suitors, including Clive Owen ("King Arthur"), Colin Firth ("Bridget Jones's Diary"), Jude Law, Ewan McGregor, Hugh Jackman, Heath Ledger, Eric Bana ("The Hulk") and any other male actor between 22-45 with an English, Scottish or Australian accent. -- Mac Slocum
