The Hollywood Reporter says the first three seasons of "Seinfeld" will be released on Nov. 23.
TVShowsonDVD.com says the "Seinfeld" Pilot and the first three seasons of the show will be packed on two, four-disc sets. Each set will retail for $49.95. A gift set including all discs and a few extras -- a script from Larry David, playing cards, and salt-and-pepper shakers from Monk's Diner (see picture) -- will sell for $119.95.
Keep in mind that "Seinfeld's" first two seasons did not have full schedules. Because of this, box set 1 will include all episodes from seasons one and two (18 episodes total, including two versions of the Pilot). Box set 2 will feature all 22 episodes from the third season. USA Today says there will be 24 hours of bonus features spread out over each 2-disc set. These features include a documentary, bloopers, commentary and some of Seinfeld's stand-up routines.
All of the show's stars participated in the extra features, which is a minor miracle unto itself following an early boycott of the project by Jason Alexander, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Michael Richards.
