Next summer's blockbuster-in-waiting "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" now has its very own trailer at Yahoo Movies.
The film follows a married couple (Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie) who both work as assassins. Each is initially unaware of the other's line of employment, but that changes when they're hired to kill one another. Think of it as "True Lies" meets "The War of the Roses" -- with lots of guns.
On its face the film seems pretty dumb, but the trailer has an infectious energy and the production is in the capable hands of "Bourne Identity" director Doug Liman. A-list stars Pitt and Jolie don't hurt, either.
"Mr. and Mrs. Smith" will be released June 10, 2005. -- Mac Slocum
