X-Files 2: Monsters Instead of Mythology

It's not much, but when it comes to "X-Files 2" any news is good news. USA Today spoke with David Duchovny at the People's Choice Awards on Monday night and the man-who-used-to-be-Mulder revealed that "X-Files 2" could go into production later this year or in early 2006.

Plot-wise, Duchovny says the sequel will be a stand-alone monster story. "Mulder and Scully investigate one particular case that has nothing to do with alien life. It has to do with supernatural stuff," Duchovny says.
