Jimmy Olsen Finds Work on New Superman Movie

The Hollywood Reporter says "Superman" director Bryan Singer has found his Jimmy Olsen. Actor Sam Huntington ("Not Another Teen Movie") will play the novice photographer who uses his gee-whiz charm to befriend Clark Kent/Superman.

Interestingly, the Reporter notes that Kate Bosworth is still in negotiations to play Lois Lane. Bosworth's involvement was considered a sure thing two weeks ago, but ongoing talks could signal that things aren't so sure anymore. Or maybe they are and I'm fishing for angles.

Either way, filming on "Superman" is slated to begin in early March. For more on this project visit our spotlight page. -- Mac Slocum
