Virginia Madsen Joins The Wrong Element

Virginia Madsen is taking full advantage of her Oscar nomination. The "Sideways" star has signed on to play Harrison Ford's wife in the kidnap thriller "The Wrong Element," says The Hollywood Reporter.

The film follows a security expert (Ford) who is forced to rob one of the banks he protects when evildoers kidnap his wife and daughter. Paul Bettany ("Wimbledon") will play the money-grubbing villain. Director Richard Loncraine ("Wimbledon" -- coincidence?) is overseeing the production. -- Mac Slocum
