Pink Goes Underground for 'Catacombs'

The Hollywood Reporter says pop singer Pink ( Alecia Moore) will co-star with Shannyn Sossamon ("40 Days and 40 Nights") in the thriller "Catacombs."

The story follows a young woman (presumably Sossamon, but that's not confirmed) who is invited to an underground party staged in Paris' ancient limestone tunnels. When the woman becomes separated from her friends, she begins to believe someone -- or something -- is chasing her. She's probably right.

The Reporter makes no mention of Pink's role, but I'd guess it's in the punked-out tough-talking "friend" genre.

Filming on "Catacombs" is scheduled to begin next week in Bucharest, Romania. -- Mac Slocum
