Duff Sisters Join Forces as Material Girls

Hilary Duff Hilary and Haylie Duff have found a lucrative little niche in '80s kitsch. First, the sibling duo teamed for a cover of the Go-Go's "Our Lips are Sealed" and now Variety says the Duffs will co-star in "Material Girls," a film that draws inspiration from Madonna's hit song.

Yes. It's inspired by the Madonna song. According to Variety, the comedy follows two heiresses who lose their fortune in the wake of a corporate scandal (somehow, I doubt Enron will be involved).

Hilary Duff will record a cover of "Material Girl" for the soundtrack. Production on the film begins April 18. -- Mac Slocum
