Attention cubicle dwellers: Plug in those headphones and make sure no one is around. All clear? Good. Now point your Web browser to Apple.com and check out the new full-length "Batman Begins" trailer. If you weren't psyched for this summer flick, you will be after watching this fine piece of marketing material.
For those who haven't heard of this little picture, "Batman Begins" aims to resuscitate the faltering Batman franchise. The Dark Knight last surfaced in 1997's "Batman & Robin" -- an infamous film that featured nipples on the batsuit and two boat-anchor sidekicks. With "Batman Begins" all that fetishistic nipple nonsense has been tossed in the hopper. Instead, director Christopher Nolan ("Memento") dives into Batman's origin. Given the protagonists's penchant for flapping around Gotham in a bat costume, Batman's genesis would seem to offer plenty of room for fertile psychological exploration.
