Justin Timberlake Joins Shrek 3

Co-starring with a real-life significant other is usually the kiss of death for box office and relationships alike, but does it count when you're animated co-stars? Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake are about to find out.

USA Today says Timberlake has joined the cast of "Shrek 3" as a young King Arthur (aka "Artie"). Artie has no desire to pursue a royal career, so Shrek (Mike Myers) is enlisted to show the young man that supreme executive power is his birthright. USA Today also reveals that a baby is somehow involved in the third installment.

"Shrek 3" is scheduled to be released May 18, 2007. For more "Shrek" news visit our "Shrek" spotlight page. -- Mac Slocum
