Fishburne, Hoffman Round out M:I-3 Cast

Morpheus has a new franchise.

The Hollywood Reporter says "Matrix" star Laurence Fishburne will play Tom Cruise's "mentor" in "Mission: Impossible 3." The depth of Fishburne's mentoring hasn't been detailed, but if it involves a Kung-Fu chop to Cruise's perpetual smile, I'm all for it.

The Reporter also says Philip Seymour Hoffman ("Almost Famous") has joined the picture as the latest "Impossible" villain.
