Rodney Dangerfield Gets His Day

Variety says a Rodney Dangerfield biopic is in development.

Howard and Karen Baldwin of Baldwin Entertainment Group will base the film on the late comedian's autobiography, "It's Not Easy Bein' Me." Dangerfield died in October 2004 from complications following heart surgery.

It'll be interesting to see who nabs the starring role -- taking on the iconic Dangerfield could be a herculean task.

Additional production details haven't been released. -- Mac Slocum
