Tommy Lee Jones At Home on the Prairie

The Hollywood Reporter says Tommy Lee Jones has joined director Robert Altman's untitled ensemble comedy.

The film, based on Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion" radio show, centers on the tumultuous final days of the program. Jones will play a corporate man sent to shut the show down by a Texas conglomerate.

In addition to Jones, the impressive cast includes Meryl Streep (two Oscars, 11 nominations), Kevin Kline (one Oscar), Virginia Madsen (one nomination), Woody Harrelson (one nomination), John C. Reilly (one nomination), Lily Tomlin (one nomination), and Lindsay Lohan (how'd she get in there?).

Keillor wrote the screenplay and will also appear in the film as himself. Release dates have not been announced. -- Mac Slocum
