Russell Crowe and his "Gladiator" director Ridley Scott may reunite for "A Good Year," says The Hollywood Reporter.
"Gladiator" fans should contain themselves -- "Good Year" won't have any slash-and-burn battle scenes or legions of bloodthirsty soldiers. Well, it could have these elements, but it would make for the weirdest story ever. Based on Peter Mayle's novel, "A Good Year" follows a London banker who inherits a French vineyard. The plot thickens when a California woman lays claim to the same land. As you can see, the opportunity for hand-to-hand combat seems minimal at best.
Filming is scheduled to begin in September. -- Mac Slocum
