Tony Scott Says Forget It To "Deja Vu"

DarkHorizons has a report that Tony Scott ("Crimson Tide," "Man on Fire") will no longer be attached to the project "Deja Vu." The split is due to scheduling issues that came up in the wake of Katrina. The project, which will star Denzel Washington, is still slated to move forward. The only question is when, which will depend on how quickly the project picks up a director. A side note of the article is the fact that Katrina will drive up the budget for the project, but leaving the state will forfeit the tax breaks given by the state to encourage film production. --Terrence Ryan
